Harry Warned Meghan This When Their Romance Was Revealed To The Public
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were doing a pretty good job at keeping their royal romance a secret for months, but when the time came for them to reveal their relationship to the world, Prince Harry had some words of warning for his wife-to-be, that their lives would change drastically.
Back in 2016, Meghan and Harry were introduced by a mutual friend, and since then it has been quite the ride. The two celebrities went on two dates in London before Harry’s new girlfriend joined him on a five day trip to Botswana. There the couple shared lots of personal moments, camping under the stars and all. After their first meeting, Harry and Meghan went under the radar in the following four months, before the Sunday Express revealed their relationship in October of the same year.
During that time period, Harry was staying with Meghan in Toronto, where she was working on her US legal drama Suits, according to the royal author, Andrew Morton.
In Meghan’s biography, titled Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, Mr. Morton explains how Harry’s communication secretary urgently called the Prince to inform him that the secret was out. According to reports, the pair celebrated by toasting each other with a glass of wine. However, Harry had a warning for Meghan.

Mr. Morton said: “When the story became public, Harry was staying with Meghan in Toronto.
“After he took a call from Jason Knauf to tell him their cover had been blown, he and Meghan poured themselves a glass of wine and toasted each other.
“But the celebration came with a sober warning, Harry telling Meghan, ‘Our lives will never be the same again.’”
The royal relationship made Meghan-who was previously relatively well known for her role as Rachel Zane on the legal drama Suits-famous around the globe.
Mr. Morton said: “Overnight Meghan Markle went from being a moderately well-known actress to one of the most famous people on the planet.”
A month later, Harry confirmed the relationship with an unprecedented statement about his private life posted on the Royal Family’s website condemning the “wave of abuse and harassment” Meghan had been subject to.
The statement said: “The past week has seen a line crossed. His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment.
“It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm.”
Harry and Meghan’s rocky start didn’t stop the pair from announcing their engagement in November 2017. The pair got married in what can only be described as a fairytale that was the big wedding day at St George’s Chapel in May. And after five months the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they are currently pregnant with their first child. It seems there is a bright future ahead of this royal couple.
