How Kate Paid Tribute To Her Children During Latest Engagement
Prince William and Kate Middleton have three wonderful children. And it seems that Kate has to have her three children close to her in some way, as a sweet reminder.
On Tuesday, the Duchess made both a in-person and virtual visit to parents who have helped spearhead family-focused support initiatives during the still on-going global health crisis. And during her visits fans noticed that she was wearing a new piece of jewelry, which has a secret, yet sweet, meaning behind it.
The elegant gold chain link necklace has three dangling charms engraved with the letters “G”, “C” and “L”. Those letter are the first initials of her three children-Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Duchess paired this necklace with another chain one from Spells of Love.
The pieces of jewelry perfectly fit with the more casual look that Kate went with for the meetings with parents at Battersea Park in London. The Duchess choose a white top by Ralph Lauren, mauve high-waist trousers. She finished off the look with white canvas sneakers by Superga. During the visit, she met with representatives and volunteers from eight different organizations that have been working during the pandemic to give advice, emotional support, and guidance on using public services amid this crisis.
For the second part of the visit, the Duchess went virtual. While chatting with the parents on video chat she applauded them for helping create support systems for their communities during such a turbulent time.
“A huge well done to all of you, I know there’s a big team of you out there in communities across the country,” she said during the call from her Kensington Palace home.
“Both William and I hear about how vital these relationships are to families—they’re a real lifeline. So to you and your army of volunteers out there, a huge well done. I, like you, would love to see peer-to-peer support more embedded and celebrated in communities and society as a whole.”
