Is Meghan Hosting One More Friend At Kensington Palace This Week?

This week the Duchess of Sussex might be in for a visit from a close friend of hers if Jessica Mulroney’s Instagram posts are anything to go by. Jessica, who is Meghan’s stylish and longtime close friend from Canada, has just arrived in London. We know of her arrival from a photo she shared from a high-end Chinese restaurant Park Chinois in Mayfair. The mother-of-three looked stunning in black metallic skinny jeans and a black tuxedo blazer, cinched at the waist with a belt.

We are certain that Jessica will visit her best friend Meghan during her stay in London, and perhaps Meghan may even host her. This wouldn’t be the first time Meghan has done that, as just last week the royal, who is currently in the third trimester of her pregnancy, pulled out all the stops for her friend Daniel Martin, the MUA behind her wedding day look.

The Duchess of Sussex spared no expense as she whipped up a delicious brunch of avocado toast, which was served on an actual silver platter, with Fortnum & Mason to finish.

“Back to our Tig days… Thank you, Meghan, for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM!” Daniel wrote of their weekend together. Meghan and Daniel also enjoyed some freshly brewed tea from a teapot designed by Soho Farmhouse. The stoneware teapot, in a small size, is part of the brand’s Country Home collection and costs £25. Meanwhile, the matching cups and saucers cost £12 each.

Meghan and Jessica quickly became close friends after first meeting in Canada where, at the time Meghan was working in Toronto on her TV show, Suits. Jessica is married to Ben Mulroney, the son of former Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney. The two of them have three children- five-year-old daughter Ivy and twin sons Brian and John, eight –who along their parents attended Meghan’s wedding in May and were even part of Meghan’s bridal party.

Jessica and Duchess of Sussex are believed to still be contacting regularly, with Jessica helping Meghan with her outfits despite the fact that they are thousands of miles apart. The Canadian stylist even flew out to Australia during Harry and Meghan’s royal tour, they’re first as a married couple, no doubt to help Meghan with her maternity looks. Now that’s what we call friendship.
