Kate and William Receive A Gift For Louis- But He Might Struggle With It

Royal fans have not forgotten Kate and Williams three children back at Kensington Palace.

While on tour in Pakistan, Kate and William got the chance to show off their sporty side. The royal couple both took part in a cricket match in Lahore. Both William and Kate impressed at the National Cricket Academy, with the Duke hitting six, while Kate was caught out twice. Both royals looked as if they had fun with the Duchess saying that although she was a cricket fan, she preferred swimming and tennis, while the Duke admitted that he hadn’t played since school.

Although they are on tour without their three children, which they left behind in the UK, it seems no matter where they go their children will always be on their minds. The couple were given cricket bats as gifts for each of their three children, Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, with the smallest not being quite ready for cricket, as they were told: “You might apologise to Prince Louis, his bat is bigger than he is.” They shouldn’t worry he’ll grow into it.

With the parents off on royal tour, the three Cambridge children are being looked after by their royal nanny and their grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton in London. William and Kate did manage to do the school run on Monday just before jetting off to Pakistan on Monday.

The Cambridge children have inherited their love of sport from their parents, with William and Kate taking Prince George and Princess Charlotte to their first premier league match this month, where they watched Williams favourite team Aston Villa play against Norwich City at Carrow Road stadium. The match ended with a confident 5-1 win for Aston Villa, much to the delight of Prince George, a fan of football like his father, who couldn’t contain his excitement over the win.

For their fourth and penultimate day of their visit of Pakistan, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have an official meeting with Governor Lahore planned, as well as a visit to SOS Children’s Village, the Badshahi Mosque and the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital โ€“ both of which Princess Diana went to during her trip in 1991. George, Charlotte and Louis will see their mother and father very soon, as they will be making their return trip this Friday.
