On Tuesday we got to see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend Prince Charles’ special reception at Buckingham Palace, in honor of the 50th Anniversary of his Investiture as the Prince of Wales.
Meghan wowed in a white Amanda Wakeley coat over a metallic brocade dress with nude pumps.
This comes after the couple’s three-day visit to Morocco. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now back and preparing for the arrival of their first child.
While at the event, Meghan chatted with the guests, many of them being excited to talk about the forthcoming baby.
She discussed the fact that her due date is getting closer and closer with one of the guests. This isn’t the first time the two met since Meghan and Harry announced the pregnancy.
“I look different than when you saw me last!” Meghan said to a guest from Cardiff, Wales.
“How are you doing?” the man replied. “I’m sure everyone is asking.”
We still don’t know the exact date (thanks Kensington Palace). But it is most likely sometime in April 2019, as the Duchess seems very excited when discussing the arrival of hers and Harry’s first child.
“No, it’s actually very sweet,” Meghan continued.
“It’s a very sweet, nurturing thing to ask. We’re nearly there!” when asked when the baby was due.
It seems the couple can’t wait to welcome their first child in just a few weeks, and might be feeling some anxiety as well. But we are sure it will all be okay and we can’t wait either.
The parents-to-be are currently putting the final touches on their new home in Windsor. After celebrating her baby shower with close friends in New York City, Meghan is back to official royal business, showing no signs of slowing down ahead of her April due date.
