It seems that Meghan’s Instagram account has been reactivated, the one she deactivated in 2017 after her engagement to Prince Harry. Fans were in for a pleasant surprise when they saw that Meghan’s pictures resurfaced on her account, which is verified and has three million followers(a number that is sure to grow).
All her posts were available to see, including her last post, a college in which she announced the closure of her blog, The Tig from April 2017. But the fans happiness was short-lived, as it was deactivated within minutes. Royal sources have explained that is was only a “technical issue.”
If Meghan began posting on her Instagram account again, she won’t be the only royal with an active social media account. Princess Eugenie, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson all have accounts on the social media site, and are pretty active, often posting pictures from their work as well as their private life.
Some photos from Meghan’s account include pictures of her two dogs (one dressed adorably in a Union Jack jumper), a snap of herself enjoying an evening with her close friend, Priyanka Chopra, and behind-the-scenes shots of herself with her cast mates on Suits. And of course, Meghan also has the must-have life-affirming quotes which promote positivity in her posts.
At the moment, the Duchess is busy with preparing for her first Christmas as an official member of the royal family, which she will be spending with her husband and her in-laws, Prince William and Kate Middleton, at Sandringham. There have been reports that the Cambridge and the Sussexes would be together over Christmas earlier this month.
This is an especially special year for the royal to celebrate together, as it’s not just Meghan’s first Christmas as Duchess, but also its little Louis’ first Christmas. There has been also reported that Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, will not be joining her daughter and son-in-law for Christmas after all, despite all the reports that she had been invited to celebrate the special day with the royal family.
