Taken by mom Kate, the photos show the birthday boy grinning up at the camera in a checked shirt with coloured paint on his hands. Apparently, Prince Louis has joined children across the UK, who have been painting rainbows as a symbol of hope during the coronavirus lockdown.

His artwork resulted in a multi colored handprint which William and Kate have proudly displayed in the window of Anmer Hall.

Duchess Kate has become an accomplished royal photographer in recent years. Actually, the very first official photos of Prince Louis ever released were also taken by her.

Prince Louis big birthday party had to be cancelled this year due to the coronavirus outbreak. But, the little Prince celebrated his birthday privately with family last year too. The only difference this year is, no extended family will join them in person.

Prince Louis was born at 11:01 a.m. on 23RD April, 2018 at St Mary’s Hospital, London. Although, Prince William and Kate announced Prince George’s and Princess Charlotte’s names pretty quickly, they waited four days to tell the world they had named their new son Louis Arthur Charles.
