The Sweet Story Behind The Photo Of Prince Charles Hugging Louis
Prince Charles has released an unseen photo to mark his grandson Prince Louis’ second birthday. The black and white photo shows Charles, who is facing the camera, holding his birthday boy. Prince Louis can be seen wrapping his arms around his grandad’s neck.
Grandpa posted the photo on his official social media accounts with the caption: “A very Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turns two today. The young Prince enjoys a hug from his grandfather the Prince of Wales.”
There is still no information about when was this beautiful photo taken, although it looks to be at an informal family gathering. As we can see from the background, it appears to be taken in the garden of one of the royal residences.
The strong bond between Prince Charles and Prince Louis is crystal clear. And royal watchers reacted with delight to the photograph.
One fan commented: “Awwww this is soooooooooooooooooo sweet. Louis’s cute little hug to Grandpa Wales!”
Another wrote: “What an absolutely beautiful photograph of such a clearly strong bond!”
It’s obvious that the photo is a favourite of Prince Charles as he has in on display in the drawing room at Birkhall, where he is isolating. Eagle-eyed fans noticed it first during a live video link as Charles opened the Nightingale Hospital last week.
Last night, William and Kate released a series of images of Louis smiling with the paint on his hands, as well as his masterpiece.
Many were probably wondering how mom Kate managed to get a two-year-old to do hand painting without covering himself.
But, Louis finally did it! He couldn’t resist and touched his face!
This morning, Kensington Palace released two photos of Prince Louis captioned “Instagram vs reality!, and thanked everyone for the birthday wishes. The second photo shows the birthday boy grinning cheekily for the camera having smeared rainbow colours across his cheeks.
