Prince George Has A Royal Schoolmate- You’ll Know Her Mom

At the moment Prince George is on summer holiday from school, but when he returns to the classrooms he will not be the only royal pupil in his class.

Maud Windsor-daughter of Lord Freddie Windsor and actress Sophie Winkleman-will be in the same class as Prince George, 8, at St Thomas Battersea School.

The two royals attend the private school located in South London, costing around £17k-a-year, Princess Charlotte, George’s younger sister, also started going here.

When the two return to school it is very likely that they will be put in the same class, as Sophie has previously talked about how much her daughter and Prince George “got on well”.

These three examples are only the latest celebrity children who have gone to his school, with previous examples of famous pupils being singer Florence Welch, model Cara Delevingne, and her older sister Poppy and Chloe.

The school is located in the heart of what is dubbed “nappey valley”, as it is an area highly sought-after for families.

The school provides high-end education with all kinds of activities, as within its grounds it features a theatre, a gymnasium, a ballet room, a pottery room, as well as two big libraries, an Astroturf and a rooftop playground.

Good Schools Guide has described it as “competitive” and chosen by parents who want the “best education money can buy”.

Maud’s dad Lord Freddie’s dad, her grandfather, is Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen’s cousin, with her mother Sophie also being famous in her own right.

The actress is most known for playing Big Suze in Peep show and appearing in the 2005 movie version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

And she isn’t the only Winkleman you might have heard of, as her sister Claudia is also famous, being the host of Strictly Come Dancing.

Maud has a special connection with George’s new cousin Lilibeth, Harry and Meghan’s second child, as both of them have been born in the US.

And of course, Maud’s name pays tribute to the Queen. Just like many royal connected families do, Maud’s middle name is Elizabeth, in honour of Her Majesty.

If you are wondering where have you seen this youngest, it is probably at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding in 2018, as she was a bridesmaid for her godmother Princess Eugenie alongside Princess Charlotte.
