Simon Helberg Is Getting A New CBS Comedy Series
The star of the popular Big Bang Theory, Simon Helberg, has signed on to new TV comedy series in development at CBS, according to Variety. And this time it has nothing to do with physics, or engineering.
You don’t have to worry about Howard’s future in Big Bang Theory, because Simone will produce the new comedy, rather than starring in it.

The name of the new TV series is “Need to Know.” The TV show is set in the training-video department of the Central Intelligence Agency.
The writes on the project are Scott Weinger and Zach Ayers will serve as writers on the project. The executive producer is Weinger executive producing and Ayers is co-executive producing. Helberg will executive produce under his Wildline Entertainment banner.
Anyway, Simon Helberg is not the only one from Big Bang Theory to get into producing. Jim Parsons is producing also the Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon. And, what one would expected, the spinoff is a hit and earned a full season from CBS.
Also, Howard’s actor, has produced before movies like “We’ll Never Have Paris” (he also wrote it) and “I Am I.” He also, co-created “Derek and Simon: The Show.”
When it comes to Scott Weinger, he has been acting throughout his career. He voiced Aladdin the hit 1992 Disney movie. He played the role of Steve Hale in “Full House” and the in “Fuller House.” As a writer or producer he was a part of shows like “The Muppets,” “Galavant,” and “Black-ish”.
