The Big Change You Might Have Missed In Charlotte Birthday Photo

As has become a tradition for their children’s birthdays, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a photo of Princess Charlotte to mark her sixth birthday on Sunday. Fans were stunned at how much the young royal looked like her father, Prince William, as well as having a resemblance to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

But that wasn’t the only detail that fans noticed about the six-year-old. In the photograph, taken by her mother Kate at their country home in Norfolk, Princess Charlotte is seen without one of her signature hair accessories.

Even at a young age, starting from her first birthday, Kate and William’s daughter has always been pictured with a bow in her hair, or more recently in a braid or a ponytail. So it came as a surprising first for her as her new birthday portrait is the first time fans have seen her with her hair loose around her face.

In the photograph she is wearing a £59 floral dress by British children’s clothing brand Rachel Riley, which has already been sold out.

Princess Charlotte was born on May 2nd back in 2015 in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London-the the same hospital where both her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, were also born.

After the tragedy and mourning period that followed the death of Prince Philip, hopefully, the Cambridge family have lifted their spirits a bit, as the last couple of weeks have been nothing but milestones and celebrations.

On April 23rd the youngest of the Cambridge trio, Prince Louis, celebrated his third birthday, just two days before he started attending nursery. The prince will go to Willcocks Nursery School, the same one his sister Charlotte went to. Of course, all these events were accompanied by sharing photographs of the royal on their social media accounts.

Then on the 29th of April, Kate and William had a huge milestone to celebrate. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reached their tenth wedding anniversary, with Kensington Palace sharing two sweet new photos of the couple for the occasion.

However, that wasn’t all, as fans got treated to another post, this time by Kate and William themselves. The royal couple shared a video of the family-of-five going for walks on a beach and toasting marshmallows at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, to celebrate the big milestone.
