The Reason Why Kate Doesn’t Have A Cameo In The Queen’s New Documentary
Well, Meghan had to give up her acting career when she and Harry married. Still, that doesn’t mean that she won’t show on the small screens anymore.
She showed up, taking a starring role in a new ITV’s documentary Queen Of The World. And that brought up a question: Will Kate feature in the movie.
And the answer is: Sadly, but not much.
It’s just while the documentary was filmed, Kate was on maternity leave after the birth of her third child, Louis on April 23.
The documentary focuses on Queen Elizabeth’s work in the Commonwealth. So it highlights the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which took place from April 16-20 in London.
“Kate was largely out of action during the main filming,” an insider with the documentary says. “CHOGM was a focal point and she was due to give birth any minute then.”
But, hey! There’s no need to despair. You will have a chance to see Kate. She just won’t be displayed speaking directly to the camera or in a conversation like Meghan, Harry, and William.
“There is a film of events and receptions which she attended, so you do see her,” the insider adds.
The network has released a teaser unveiling the heartwarming moment the Duchess of Sussex is reunited with her wedding gown. Meghan is seen viewing her wedding dress for the first time since her royal wedding.
In Queen of the World, Meghan is talking about the importance of the Commonwealth. Her stunning silk tulle wedding veil will be shown in the film, which featured a flower from all 53 Commonwealth countries.
On September 25, ITV will air a personal look at the royal family in its upcoming, two-part documentary Queen of the World.
The documentary shows how the Queen is passing on her duties to the younger royals.
Queen of the World airs on Tuesday 25 September 9.15pm on ITV in the U.K. and on HBO in the U.S. on October 1.
