The Sweet Message Meghan And Harry Sent The Queen On Her Birthday

The Duke and Duchess are preparing for the arrival of their first baby, and have been out of royal duties for some time, spending the time instead with preparations.

But the royal couple did come out on Sunday, wishing the Queen a very happy 93rd birthday from their newly-opened Instagram account.

Both Harry and Meghan are close to the monarch, and in their post they selected a handful of photos of them together throughout the years, going as back as when Harry and William were kids, to the Queen’s first engagement with Meghan.

The caption to the post went: “Happy birthday Your Majesty, Ma’am, Granny. Wishing you the most wonderful day! Harry and Meghan.” Fans were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: “What a nice and personal post,” while another added: “Beautiful pictures.”

But the fans had different expectations as they are preoccupied with any news about baby Sussex, hoping soon to get any new information.

One wrote: “Who else thought this was baby news?” prompting many users to respond saying: “Yes.” Another fan wrote: “Would be so lovely if your baby arrived today on her birthday.”

Prince Harry, Laughs next to HM Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth turns 93 today, and members of the royal family are celebrating as they attend an Easter Sunday church service in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The Queen was joined by her nearest and dearest at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, the location of Harry and Meghan’s wedding, for the occasion. Harry arrived at the service solo. Meghan skipped it because her due date is extremely close now.

Meghan had  a very warm welcome from the royal family, especially from the Queen, from the very start  when she began dating Harry, and the former actress and monarch have developed quite a lovely relationship.

In an engagement interview in 2017, Meghan talked about her first encounter with her Majesty. Harry joked about how calm his grandmother’s famous corgis were in Meghan’s presence, and the former actress said; “It’s incredible, I think, you know, to be able to meet her through his lens, not just with his honour and respect for her as the monarch, but the love that he has for her as his grandmother, all of those layers have been so important for me so that when I met her I had such a deep understanding and of course incredible respect for being able to have that time with her. And she’s an incredible woman.”
