This Is When Duchess Kate Might See Pippa’s Baby Girl

Pippa Middleton became a mother for the second time on March 15th, giving birth to a healthy baby girl. This is her and James Matthews’ second child, with the name being revealed to be Grace.

Becoming an aunt for the second time and considering her close relationship with her sister, we are certain Kate Middleton can’t wait to meet the newest member of the Middleton family. If things were normal, Kate would have already visited her sister in her west London home, however, that is not the case.

Carole Middleton, their mother, has already been seen visiting Pippa to help out with the baby, so when should we expect Kate to turn up?

If the current government plan stands, Kate would be able to visit her sister and new niece as soon as next week. Starting from Monday 29th March, two households of any size will be allowed to meet outdoors, such as in a private garden, or six people from any number of households.

This means that Kate and her husband Prince William, as well as their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, would be able to go to Pippa and James’ private garden to see their new cousin, and catch up with the two-year-old Arthur, Pippa and James’ first child.

However there are still protocols to be followed, which means social distancing and no physical contact with anyone not from your household, so holding the baby girl will still have to wait.

Another option is that Pippa and her family could travel to William and Kate’s garden in Kensington Palace, where they would have even more privacy compared to the first option.

There is the option that Pippa and Kate could meet up with only the two of them, as two people are allowed to meet in outdoor public spaces for exercise or recreation purposes. But is highly unlikely that we will be seeing the two sisters meeting up in a park for baby Grace’s first meeting given the lack of privacy.

A proper indoor meeting will have to wait until May 17th, if the current plan from the government goes with no complications.

Pippa and James welcomed their second child, baby girl, nine days ago, with a source close to the family reporting: “Mother and baby are doing well. She’s perfect, everyone is overjoyed at such a happy arrival.”

Grace’s full name is Grace Elizabeth Jane-a a name that she shares with her aunt Kate and grandmother Carole, who also have Elizabeth as their middle name, making for a sweet connection.

Best wishes to the newborn and the parents.
