Two Unseen Photos Of Prince Philip And The Cambridges Revealed
Never-before-seen photos of Prince Philip have been published following his death. The photos, taken over the last few years, show the late Duke enjoying himself with his family.
The first photo was released by Prince William and Duchess Kate. The couple paid tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh by releasing an unseen group photo of him and the Queen along with the Cambridge family in 2015. The beautiful photograph was taken at Balmoral.
In the photo, William is holding George’s hand, while Kate is holding Charlotte when she was a baby.
A message on the KensingtonRoyal Twitter account read: “Today we share, along with Members of The @RoyalFamily photographs of The Duke of Edinburgh, remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
“This picture was taken at Balmoral in 2015.”
In another photo, released at the same time by the Royal Family official Twitter account, Prince Philip can be seen surrounded by his grand-grandchildren and his wife, the Queen. The warm family photo was taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, back in 2018.
Kate has become a royal family photographer, often sharing new photos of her three children.
This particular photo included Prince George, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Princess Anne’s grandchildren: Savannah and Isla Phillips and Lena and Mia Tindall.
The Palace wrote: “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh surrounded by seven of their great-grandchildren at Balmoral Castle in 2018. “
Prince Philip passed away peacefully on Friday at the age of 99. He and the Queen, his wife of 73 years welcomed three new great-grandchildren, Archie Harrison, August Philip and Lucas Philip Tindall, in the three years since this photo was taken.
