Despite all the rumors of a royal rift between Catherine and Meghan in the past few months, the two ladies seemed to be getting along brilliantly at their latest joint engagement.
On Tuesday, Catherine and Meghan alongside their husbands, brothers William and Harry, attended a reception in the White Drawing room at Buckingham Palace thrown by the Queen to mark the 50th anniversary of her son Charles’ investiture as Prince of Wales.
It was the first time we saw them together after they attended the annual church service at Sandringham on Christmas Day.
While the Fabulous Four was greeting guests, the sisters-in-law appeared to share a joke just moments before they shook hands with fellow attendees.
In the background of a video, Kate can be seen turning her head around to look and Meghan and laughing. Then Meghan steps into the shot next to her.
A better video of Kate and Meghan sharing a laugh! I live for little moments like this between my two favs ❤️ pic.twitter.com/1SbzbE1z6I

Yesterday’s reception was hosted by Her Majesty and celebrated Prince Charles’ commitment to his Welsh patronages and charities. It featured guests representing the charitable organisations Charles has supported over the decades.
Charles was created the Prince of Wales at the age of nine, on July 26 1958, and was formally invested with the title at Caernarfon Castle by the Queen on July 1 1969.
Both Kate and Meghan looked gorgeous at the important event. For the daytime occasion, Kate wowed in a pale blue dress with nude heels and a small clutch. She also wore a pair of diamond and aquamarine drop earrings.
Meghan stunned in a white coat by Amanda Wakeley and a cream and gold jacquard brocade dress with Paul Andrew heels. The Duchess wore her hair in a bun.
Buckingham Palace receptions like this are typically private and photographers aren’t allowed inside to document the family. However, exceptions have been made yesterday and in the past.
