What’s Prince Harry’s Nickname For Meghan Markle?

The 33-year-old let slip his nickname for his wife-to-be.

We recently found out that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have an adorable moniker for their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and we were surprised at how normal it all seemed.

Of course, when in public, the royal family calls each other by their full names and royal titles, but it’s easy to forget that the Monarchy is no different than the rest of us, just another family with quirky traditions, funny nicknames for each other and adorable moments behind closed doors.

So, it was quite a joy to hear Prince Harry let slip his nickname for his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle, during an Invictus Games Reception on Saturday evening.

During the day, Meghan wore a summery Self Portrait floral green dress to celebrate the occasion with her prince, and thanks to some footage of the event, we now know what Harry calls in their sweetest moments.

In a clip of footage published by the Daily Mail, the 33-year-old can be heard calling, ‘Meg! Meg!’ in an attempt to get his fiancé’s attention so that he can make an introduction.

Okay, so ‘Meg’ might not be the most shocking nickname for Meghan- you might have been expecting something more “shocking” along the lines of ‘boo’, ‘honey pie’ or ‘snookums'(journalism nowadays people*sign*)but this shows that Harry and Meghan are like every other young couple in love and comfortable with each other.

Now, we wonder what the couples new nephew-who was born yesterday actually-will call his new aunt and uncle. Our money is on Aunt Megs and Uncle Hazza.
