Why Today Is Special Day For Duchess Kate And Her Family
Easter is just around the corner and Kate Middleton may be spending some quality time with her family, however, there is another occasion to commemorate first – the Duchess’ brother James Middleton is celebrating his birthday!
We also aren’t sure whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be attending, as when we last heard of them it was believed that they were enjoying an action-packed holiday on the slopes whilst the children are on their Easter holidays.
James turned 35 this Friday, details of how he will be marking his special day have been kept secret, but one thing is certain, his wife AlizéeThevenet and their pet dogs will be involved.
This will be his birthday as a married man so surely it will be extra special – he and AlizĂ©e got married on 11 September surrounded by friends and family at Bormes-les-Mimosas, famous for being one of the most beautiful villages in the CĂ´te d’Azur.
The couple are also proud owners of their six dogs Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mable and Nala, who all live with them in their countryside home, one of them even helped James encounter his now-wife Alizée.
In a previous interview, James shared that Ella was, in fact, the one to thank for introducing him to financial expert AlizĂ©e, saying: “The two of us (Ella and me) were at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea. Ella was lying at my feet under the table; realising she might want some water, I trusted her to take herself over to the water bowl across the terrace.”
“However, she made a beeline for AlizĂ©e. Rather embarrassed, I went over to apologise and bring Ella back,” he continued. “But AlizĂ©e thought I was the waiter and ordered her drink while continuing to stroke Ella, who at this point was on her back lapping up the attention.
“Little did I know, but I had just met my future wife, all thanks to Ella. If I hadn’t trusted Ella, I wouldn’t have brought her to the South Kensington Club and she wouldn’t have been able to say hi to the woman who became my fiancĂ©e.”
