William And Kate Won’t Post Birthday Photo Of Charlotte This Weekend
Princess Charlotte is celebrating her 6th birthday this weekend and royal fans are hopeful Kate will release a new photo of her daughter to celebrate the big day.
But, unfortunately there’s a chance we won’t get a new photo of the young Princess this weekend.
Just a few hours ago, Prince William, who is president of the Football Association, has announced he is joining this weekend’s boycott of social media in a stand against racism and abuse online.
“As President of the FA I join the entire football community in the social media boycott this weekend. W,” he wrote.
The football-led campaign started at 3pm on Friday for three days, as a show of solidarity to tackle racism, abuse and discrimination.
Having in mind Prince William’s latest tweet, fans shouldn’t expect to see a photo of birthday girl Charlotte this weekend.
Prince William and Kate also didn’t share a new photo of Princess Charlotte for her third birthday. Typically, a new picture is released of the royal kiddos as a birthday celebration, but that year, the couple posted an old photo of Charlotte taken on her first day of nursery.
Still, they surprised royal watchers by releasing a new photo of Princess Charlotte enjoying a quiet moment with her newborn brother Prince Louis.
On Thursday, William and Kate surprised fans when they released a never-before-seen home video taken by filmmaker Will Warr. They said: “Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary. We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family. W & C.”
The clip showed the couple spending a day on the beach with their children. Then, William and Kate are filmed chasing their kids around their Norfolk home, while Charlotte and Louis played on a seesaw and a swing, climbing trees and even roasting marshmallows around a campfire with the kids.Â
