Will Meghan Wear “Something Borrowed” From Late Princess Diana?
Will Meghan Markle borrow from Prince Harry’s late mother Diana for her big wedding day? Author Katie Nicholl has revealed in detail what Meghan might wear to remember Diana in a way.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markles wedding day is just over a month away. With the day getting nearer, questions have been popping up about the big day.
One such question is how will Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, who tragically passed away at the age of 36, be honored on the big day.
It is believed that Meghan will follow the bridal tradition in which the bride has to wear something borrowed from someone else on her wedding day.
A royal author has speculated that Prince Harry will not hold back and will lend something very special to his bride to be from Princess Diana’s collection on behalf on his late mother.
Harry made sure Diana wasn’t forgotten on the day of his engagement,” Katie Nicholl, author of Harry Life Loss and Love, tells us.
Will Meghan wear the Spencer tiara? This is “unlikely”, jewellery writer Ella Kay told Town & Country.
“I think it’s unlikely because Meghan is marrying into the Windsor family, not the Spencer family, so if she borrows a tiara, I think it will reflect her new royal status.”
There is a vast catalogue of things that Meghan can choose to wear from Diana, such as the Qatar Diamond and Pearl Earrings given to her as a wedding gift by the Emir of Qatar.
There is also a diamond and sapphire suit gifted to Diana by the Sultan of Oman during her 1986 tour of the Gulf states.
Whatever Meghan wears on her wedding day, Diana will be remembered in another special day, said Katie.
“Certainly Harry will want to make sure Diana is included.
“He has invited every member of her family (The Spencers) to the wedding so that Diana’s side of the family will be well represented.”
Yesterday, we got details about where the couple will spend their honeymoon.
After so much speculation from the fans, we finally know where they will go after the big wedding.
The couple will head out on a romantic wedding holiday in Namibia, a country in southwest Africa, a source has revealed to Travel+Leisure.
The choice should not come as a surprise, as both of them have showed interest in travelling in Africa.
Why is Namibia a good honeymoon destination for Meghan and Harry? Namibia is known for its wildlife including a vast cheetah population.
Tourists can enjoy everything from safari tours to sand dunes there. It is one of the least densely populated countries in the world, meaning the couple will benefit from privacy there.
