William And Kate Share New Photo To Mark 9th Wedding Anniversary
Prince William and Kate’s wedding was truly a magical day, that royal watchers will never forget. And now, nine years, and three children, later they are celebrating their wedding anniversary.
To mark the milestone, Kensington Palace released a lovely photo from their special day to celebrate, alongside a very sweet message.
The photo shows the newlyweds hand in hand leaving Westminster Abbey. Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton, the best man and the maid of honour, can be also seen in the background.
The message reads: “Nine years ago today – thank you for all your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!”
Fans of the royal couple have flocked to social media to send their well wishes.
One fan wrote: “Happy wedding anniversary. Diana would be so proud of you both”. Another commented: “Beautiful bride, beautiful day! Happy Anniversary”. A third posted: “Happy wedding anniversary. Be happy and love each other”
Prince William and Kate met at university of St Andrews and were together for nine years before the Prince popped the question.
The sapphire ring that William gave his now wife, once belonged to his mother, Princess Diana.
They tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony watched by family, friends, and the entire world as it was televised internationally.
Since their wedding, William and Kate has welcomed three children. They have Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 2.
The last time we saw the Cambridges was on Thursday, as they joined the nation in clapping for key workers.
William and Kate will be celebrating their big privately in Anmer Hall, where they’re self-isolating during the lockdown.
The family of five, who just celebrated Louis’ second birthday, are also getting ready for Charlotte’s fifth birthday on Saturday.
