William, Kate, Harry And Meghan Travel To Buckingham Palace For Final Night With The Queen

On Tuesday evening, Prince William and Kate were pictured as they were headed to Buckingham Palace for their final night with the late Queen Elizabeth.

The couple is reuniting with Prince Harry and Meghan again after they greet mourners and view floral tributes on Saturday.

The four are joining the rest of the family to say their final farewell. The Queen has arrived at Buckingham Palace for the final time, where she is being received by King Charles III and the entire Royal Family.

Thousands of mourners have turned out, with many weeping as they await the Queen to return to her most iconic of homes.

Other family members expected to attend the private family gathering include the late Queen’s niece and nephew, children of the late Princess Margaret, Lady Sarah Chatto and the Earl Snowdon.

It’s understood the family affair will be a small and private gathering before The Queen’s coffin lies in state tomorrow. The gathering will allow the family a moment of quiet reflection. There won’t be a public ceremony or vigil tonight, nor any photos taken.

The coffin will lie in the Bow Room, where Queen Elizabeth primarily lived following her accession to the throne in 1952. On Wednesday, it will be moved to Westminster Hall where it will lie in state until the Queen’s state funeral on 19 September.

The Queen’s coffin was flown from Edinburgh to London, accompanied by Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence the whole time.

The Queen has left Scotland for the final time and her coffin landed at RAF Northolt at around 6.55 pm.
