Exciting News For Prince Harry Revealed
Prince Harry is known to be great with children, so it comes to no surprise that he is godfather to many of his friend’s children, including Mike and Zara Tindall’s daughter Lena. But it seems that the Duke of Sussex will become godparents once again in the near future, as one of his closest friends, Tom Inskip, is expecting his first child with his wife Lara, according to reports.
This is great news for baby Archie as well, as he will finally have someone near his age to have play dates with. Harry and Tom, whose nickname is Skippy, have known each other since childhood and have been good friends ever since. Both Harry and Meghan were present at Tom’s wedding to Lara back in 2017.
At the moment, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on break from all their royal duties. However, they haven’t forgotten about all their fans, wishing them a happy Thanksgiving on Thursday on social media. The message they shared on their official Sussex Royal Instagram account went as follows: “Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.”
Recently, the royal couple celebrated the two-year anniversary of their engagement, and to mark the occasion, they yet again went on social media, sharing a never-before-seen black-and-white photo from their wedding day. The photo wasn’t the only one posted, going alongside a photo of the couple on the day they announced their engagement on 27 November 2017 in Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden and one more of them with their son Archie at the photocall in Windsor Castle, two days after his birth.
Harry and Meghan began their six-week break from royal duties in November, with the Duke carrying his last public engagement on Sunday evening. He attended the OnSide Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The Duchess, meanwhile, was last seen in public during the Remembrance Sunday service with the rest of the royal family. Meghan watched the ceremony from the balcony of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, being joined by the Countess of Wessex and Sir Timothy Laurence.
There have been reports that the royal couple will use this time to travel to the US, to let baby Archie spend some time with his grandmother, Meghan’s mother Doria. It is unclear whether they will be there during the festive season or they will return with Doria and spend it in the UK. What we know for sure is that the Sussex will not be joining the Queen at Sandringham for Christmas this year.
