Happy Birthday Prince George! Three New Photos Released To Mark George’s Special Day!
Happy Birthday Prince George!
It seems like it was yesterday when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge introduced their firstborn son to the world. And now he is six! And thanks to three new photos the proud parents have released, it’s clear that the young Prince is growing up fast.
The adorable portraits were recently taken by proud and talented photographer mom Kate.
The first photo shows the birthday boy dressed in a green polo and striped shorts, as he smiled for a candid moment. Apparently it’s taken a sunny destination with many assuming in Mustique where they are currently vacationing.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s sixth birthday,’ Kensington Palace said.
The other photos reveal that boy George is clearly a big football fan. He is pictured lying in the garden at Kensington Palace and wearing the official England National Soccer Team jersey. Prince George is wearing the same T-shirt in the third photo, which sees him grinning at the camera.
The Palace added: “These two photographs were taken recently in the gardens at Kensington Palace by The Duchess of Cambridge. Thank you everyone for your lovely messages on Prince George’s Birthday! ”
According to Daily Mail, those photos were taken at Kensington Palace during the England ‘lionesses’ recent World Cup campaign.
The jersey is reportedly one of his favorite items of clothing. He can frequently be seen haring around Kensington Palace with a football at his feet too.
This marks the first time mom Kate has taken George’s birthday portraits.
In most of his previous portraits, George was photographed by an official photographer. And they were more formal.
Now, mom has managed to capture her firstborn his cheeky smile, and his personality perfectly.
Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, at 4.24pm on July 22 2013, weighing 8lb 6oz. He made his public debut one day later, when Prince William and Catherine stood cradling him on the hospital steps.
