Harry And Meghan Post Instagram Update After Receiving Special Surprise

Ever since they made their official Instagram account earlier this year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have gathered an impressive 9.9 million followers. Through it they have established a more direct line to their fans, being quite active and sharing all kinds of stuff, be it from their personal lives, royal updates or causes they want to shine a light on.

Recently, a story was shared on the account by the couple, in it praising the people who launched the Sussex’s initiative ‘Sussex Great Forest’, after the royals received a “special surprise from them”.

The couple posted: “Huge thanks to the amazing group of people who have launched the grassroots Sussex Great Forest (@sussexgtforest) initiative.

“What a special surprise!”

In the following story on the account, they revealed how many trees they have planted as of November 22 and how they did it.

At the moment, the campaign has planted 4010 trees, a number worth commending. The couple then explained the meaning behind the campaign.  The post read: “The aim of this project is to plant 10,000 trees around the world by “donating globally and planting locally”.

“We are so inspired! Thank you!

“Discover @sussexgtforest to see how you can support them in reaching their goal.”

From the time they created the account, they have posted 161 times, with each post getting thousands of likes and comments. Their most recent post was a tribute to the Queen and her husband Prince Phillip, who just celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary.

The post was a black and white photo of Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh in a horse-drawn carriage. The caption accompanying the photo went as follows: “Happy anniversary to Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

“One this day, seventy-two years ago, they were married at Westminster Abbey.

“Many congratulations!”

The Sussex arent the only active royals on Instagram. Prince Charles is also active, regularly posting and updating his profile, keeping his fans informed. His latest post is a heartbreaking speech he gave in New Zealand.
