Here Is The Unknown Story Behind Princess Charlotte ‘Warrior’ Nickname

The title of Prince and Princess is one that is usually only reserved for children or grandchildren of the monarch. But when Prince George was born, Prince William and Kate’s first child, the Queen decided to bestow the titles of Prince and Princess to Prince William’s children.

Despite being Princes and Princesses both in status and title, George, Charlotte and Louis have relatively normal childhoods, many thanks to their parents.

The reason why Kate and William want a normal upbringing for their children as they both know, especially William, how hard the burden of royalty can be at moments.

In fact, a source told US Weekly William and Kate ā€œgo out of their way to keep the kids groundedā€.

The source said: ā€œWhile the kids know thereā€™s something special about them, theyā€™re not spoiled.ā€

However, it was revealed that out of the three, Princess Charlotte is the one embracing her Princess lifestyle the most.

The source added: ā€œCharlotte knows she is a Princess and already has a toy tiara, which she loves wearing.ā€

And this strive for normality also encompasses education, with Prince William and Kate wanting to give their children a normal experience when it comes to schooling.

Both George and Charlotte are pupils at St Thomas’s Battersea, with William and Kate often dropping them off and picking them up from school.

And at the school, neither of the children are known as Prince or Princess, or His or Her Royal Highness. They are simply known as George Cambridge and Charlotte Cambridge, in line with their parent’s titles.

But Princess Charlotte has picked up another title, one even more important, which perfectly captures her free and adventures personality.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET: “Apparently she (Princess Charlotte) earned that nickname because obviously she is a princess. But she is quite a tomboy.

“She loves climbing trees and she’s very much an adventurer.”

The Cambridges, just like any other family, have their own names that they use to call each other at home. For Charlotte, they call her “Lottie”. Her brother George is known by his initials, PG, or sometimes PG Tips or just ‘Tips’ after the tea brand.

In January 2019 George also told a member of the public while out on a walk that his name was ā€œArchieā€. And that was only months before his cousin Archie was born.

The woman told The Sun: ā€œJust to be friendly I engaged in a bit of small talk. I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it.

“To my astonishment, he said ā€˜Iā€™m called Archieā€™ with a big smile on his face.

ā€œI donā€™t know why he calls himself Archie but kids often play with their names and I think itā€™s lovely.ā€
