Kate Receives A Very Special Gift For Son Louis At Wimbledon

On Sunday, Kate returned to Wimbledon for the third time this year. This time was for a daytime date with husband William to watch the Men’s Singles Final as Roger Federer takes on Novak Djokovic.

Kate and William enjoyed the match in the royal box, sitting just one row in front of former tennis world champion Stan Smith.

And there was one sweet moment between Stan and Kate which didn’t go unnoticed.

A photo shows Stan Smith speaking to the Duchess and handing over a special present for Prince Louis.

He brought a pair of tennis shoes named after himself for the young royal and he even signed the tiny Adidas Stan Smiths.

The tiny pair of tennis shoes had the words “Prince Louis” emblazoned across it in gold too.

“Boss Baby” Louis might not be old enough to pick up a racket. Still, he’s already got a tennis fan in Stan Smith.

Kate and William seemed to be in great spirits as they sat in the Royal Box for the big match.

For the event, Kate wore in a light blue dress by Emilia Wickstead, which she paired with nude heels. Meanwhile, William coordinated her in a grey suit jacket, a blue shirt and a pair of navy pants.

Well, Louis is still very young to be a tennis fan. But it is likely he will follow his brother George’s footsteps.

Not long ago, Kate revealed that Wimbledon finalist Roger Federer is son Prince George’s favourite tennis player. And they even had played a game together.

And he said that the “cute” youngster had a good tennis technique after they played together.

Federer soon confirmed the news of the match, describing the young royal as a “cute boy” who had a “good” technique.

“At that stage, it’s all about just touch the ball, it’s already good. Same with my boys. I think I have a little advantage that I actually spent some time, you know, with him,” Roger said.

He added: “I’m the only player he’s ever met. Then you have a little head start in who is your favourite player.”
