Kate Revealed Where She Would Like To Take The Kids As A Special Treat

On Monday night, while attending the annual Royal Variety Performance, Kate and William were pictured chatting with the cast of Mary Poppins. Chatting with them, the Kate revealed that she would love to bring her kids, George, Charlotte and Louis to the show. “They would love to,” she said, before William exclaimed: “I love Mary Poppins”.

The mom-of-three also revealed that her children are into gymnastics. She told six-year-old Aurelia from acrobatic group Zurcarohc that George and Charlotte love doing acrobatics at home, particularly handstands and cartwheels.

The Duke and Duchess cut a handsome figure at the event, held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, formally known as The Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund, of which The Queen is Patron. The money raised from the show helps hundreds of entertainers throughout the UK who need help due to illness.

Kate  debuted a new gown, a semi-sheer lace with nude underlay effect by her most trusted label Alexander McQueen.

This year, the event was hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan who joked that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were having a “date night,” according to the Mirror.

Ramesh then told the royals that he also had three children, and guessed that William and Kate thought the same thing when they saw their three little faces running into their bedroom each morning: “Why did we do this?” he said, causing the pair to laugh.

It is the third time Prince William and Kate have gone to the spectacular event after making appearances in 2014 and 2017. It is a particularly special event for the couple as the Duchess was pregnant with her second child Princess Charlotte the first time she attended and expecting her third child Prince Louis in 2017.
