The Duke and Duchess have just settled in their new home in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage and have already received their very first guest. And he is a very special one at that. Daniel Martin, a close friend of Meghan’s and makeup artist, who actually worked on Meghan for her big day, was hosted by the Duchess at her new home Frogmore Cottage.
Daniel, always being so active on social media, posted an idyllic snap of the quaint town that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be calling home, with the caption “Hmm???”. In the background of the photo, we can see Windsor jewellery shop Jersey Pearl and local pub The Carpenters Arms. Meghan is probably delighted to welcome Daniel in her new home.
Daniel was in the UK to host a beauty event with Meghan’s facialist, Sarah Chapman, on Thursday, while he made his visit to Windsor on Friday. This isn’t the first time he has visited the Duchess, as he uses every chance he gets to visit his good friend when he is in the UK. Last time, he shared a shot of their avocado toast, writing, “Back to our Tig days… Thank you, Meghan, for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM!”
The royal couple just moved into the new estate, which is a big change from the bustling and royal filled Kensington Palace. The II-listed Victorian property is perfect for new parents, as they will have all the peace and quiet they need to raise their first child and maybe even more.
Prior to moving in the couple were hard at work on fixing up the residence, with workers working nonstop on the property. The changes include adding soundproofing and removing internal walls to create a kitchen diner, en-suite bedrooms, a nursery, yoga studio and gym. The Royals should be more than pleased with the place they now call home.
