Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might reveal a baby this year, says Thomas Markle
Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, according to Thomas Markle, will have a baby this year. On Good Morning Britain, he hinted that the couple might try for a baby.
However, based on Ladbrokes predictions, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might announce pregnancy by the end of the year.
Bookies predict that there is a 70% chance that they will announce a pregnancy, with a 20% chance of Meghan giving birth by the end of the next year.
These statistics all come after Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father, who did a world exclusive interview with Good Morning Britain.
According to him, his daughter had wanted to become a mother “for a long time”.
He exclaimed: “Meghan has wanted children for a long time. When she met Harry she spoke about how much she loves him. There’s got to be a child in them.”
When asked by Piers if Meghan is already pregnant, he said that he didn’t think so.
But he also added: “But I think it will happen soon.”
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said that Royals fans are dying to hear an announcement from the couple.
“Royal fans would love for Harry and Meghan to become parents sooner rather than later, should they be lucky enough to start a family. Punters will be hoping Thomas Markle isn’t just saying it to create more headlines for himself.”
On the show, Thomas revealed Meghan’s childhood nickname.
Thomas revealed that he used to call his daughter “Bean” through her childhood.
When asked why he called her that, he replied that it was based on a fairy tale. “When Meghan was a child she loved Jack and the Beanstalk. Because she’s so small, I called her Beanie or Beanstalk. Now I call her Bean all the time.”
Thomas insists on calling her “Bean”, even refusing to call her Duchess of Sussex.
“I don’t think I’ll call her Duchess, I don’t have to because she’s my daughter.”
About the wedding, Thomas said that he had watched it from a hotel in Mexico.
