The couple, who have been married for over a month now, looked wonderful together at the event-despite the Duchess almost taking a tumble.
Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were both all smiles yesterday as they attended his cousin’s wedding but it wasn’t all smooth sailing, as Meghan took a brief tumble before being steadied by her husband.
Despite that, the Duchess of Sussex stunned the public with her long-sleeved blue-and-white paisley shirt dress and white fascinator at the wedding of Princess Diana’s niece, Celia McCorquodale – exactly four weeks after her big day.
Celia is the younger daughter of the Princess of Wales’ sister Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
The bride also looked mesmerizing in a lace-bodiced dress and a full veil, held in place by the diamond tiara worn by Princess Diana at her wedding to Prince Charles in 1981.
The 29-year-old bride was a guest at Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding, and she made sure to return the favor and invite the couple to her country wedding to George Woodhouse at St Andrew and St Mary’s Church in Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire.
Harry and Meghan looked quite delighted to be at the occasion as they arrived at the marvelous country church smiling, holding hands and laughing with the other guests.
Prince Harry was dressed in a morning suit, with a Royal blue tie to match Meghan’s dress. Her dark hair was neatly pinned up and she wore white high heels and carried a small white clutch bag.
The pair were then greeted by the Spencer family, with Prince Harry’s cousin, Louis Spencer, 24, who was recently given the title of Britain’s most eligible bachelor, giving him a bear hug and kissing Meghan on the cheek.
The star of the event, the bride Celia, arrived at the church in a vintage 1910 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and walked in the church accompanied by her father, Neil McCorquodale.
Her bridal train was carried by a pretty flower girl and she was accompanied by an array of bridesmaids.
The bouquet that she carried also included white roses.
Other guests included Princess Diana’s brother Earl Charles Spencer and her sister Lady Jane Fellowes, who did a reading for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their wedding.
Prince Harry’s cousin, Lady Kitty Spencer, 27, who is an aspiring model, was also at the wedding and looked stunning in a floral dress.
Prince William and his family did not attend the wedding.
The ceremony lasted around 45 minutes and afterward the wedding guests were invited back to a reception at Celia’s parents’ home nearby.
