Meghan Markle’s Brilliant Response To Friend Who Felt ‘Weird’ About Meghan’s Royal Status

Meghan Markle gave a brilliant response to a longtime friend of hers who felt ‘weird’ about her new Royal status and he didn’t know how to correctly address her after the wedding.

Way before she was the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle had made a name for herself in Hollywood and had a huge roster of friends.

But her friend, who she has known for almost ten years, makeup Daniel Martin didn’t know how to now act around the newly “crowned” Duchess.

He said: “I asked her ‘do I bow to you? I don’t want to disrespect you, but I’ve known you for almost ten years. What’s up?’”

To which Meghan started laughing and said: “I’m always going to be Meg.”

The makeup artist vowed to be on his best behavior the next time the two catch up.

He added: “But next time I see them I will be respectful and know my protocol. But Meg is always going to be Meg, that’s how it is!”

Mr. Martin was also kind enough to share some information on what was happening behind the scenes at the Royal Wedding.

According to the makeup artist, Meghan was incredibly cool while all her friends were nervous.

Mr. Martin said: “She didn’t seem nervous. She was very cool, she was regular Meghan.

“I think we were nervous, but we didn’t want to make her nervous so it was very chilled.

“Of course, brides have nerves, but if we didn’t put so much expectation on it, it wouldn’t have made her nervous.

“It was very even, very easy.”

Mr. Martin also revealed that most of Meghan’s friend was in a state of shock until the Duchess slipped on her beautiful wedding dress.

He continued: “It was all so easy. It didn’t hit us that she was getting married until she got the dress on.

“It was so beautiful and so architectural, and when she put it on it was like a glove. It was so easy.

“The spectacle of the veil and the crown and it was, ‘Oh my goodness, this is really happening’.”

Camilla said that the royal family was left in the dark on “what would happen next” after the controversy that happened before the Royal Wedding.

In the weeks leading up to Harry and Meghan’s big day the news of Thomas Markle, Meghan’s dad was dominating the media.

Mr. Markle, who lives in Mexico, was caught setting up pictures with a paparazzi photographer with the intention of selling them to media outlets around the world.

The Duchess of Cornwall added the wedding was just perfect despite everything, making the day “lovely”.

She said during a visit to 5 News: “It was such a lovely day. Just everything went right.

“We all wondered whatever would happen next and then everything went right.

“The only thing is that we are all losing our voices now.”
