Who Is The Singer At Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Wedding?
We are sure that Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding will be one hack of a party, but the question is who will sing at it?
Apparently Prince Harry has a long list of choices. Not long ago, he got Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams to sing at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games. And he didn’t forget to show his appreciation by bowing down to them.
A year ago, for Harry’s charity, Sentebale, Coldplay had a concert at Kensington Palace for his charity.
And 10 years ago, to pay tribute to Princess Diana’s death he called on Rod Stewart, Elton John, Pharrell Williams and Duran Duran to play at a concert.
The hip-hop artist Stormzy at the recent MOBO Awards revealed that he would love to provide “a little acoustic for young Harry” at the wedding.
Sam Smith also submitted his name into consideration saying: “I’m obsessed. I want to sing at the wedding,” he revealed The Sun.
“Oh my God I’d love to, it would be a dream.” Smith joked that if he gets the gig, “I’d have to wear a dress and a crown though!”
It was not long ago when Ed Sheeran revealed that if Prince Harry and Meghan asked him to do the honors he will accept to do the gig for sure.
Or maybe because the Prince is good friends with The Killers he will ask them to do the honor.
The Foo Fighters. Harry arranged them to play play at the 2014 Invictus Games. And maybe now he will ask them to play on his wedding too. Prince Harry is already a good friend with frontman, Dave Grohl. He even visited him in hospital back in 2015. “He is the sweetest, he’s a great guy,” Grohl shared in an interview with BBC.
When it’s about Meghan Markle, she already revealed to us on her blog that she has an eclectic music taste. She posted an upbeat playlist. Among it the electronic/folk band Crystal Fighters as well as Canadian electronic band Dragonette, up-and-coming American artist Maggie.
