Kensington Palace has just released a new image of the Princess of Wales, Kate to promote her Together at Christmas Carol Service dedicated to the late Queen, set to air on Christmas Eve.
The Together at Christmas Carol Service will include readings from Prince William, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville and Kadeena Cox, it will also include music from Craig David, Alexis French, Samantha Barks and a duet from Mel C. and Alfie Boe.
Prince William and Princess Catherine will be joined this year by His Majesty the King, Queen Consort Camilla and other royals, as the service will be dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II and the values of duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion and support for others, that she embodied during her life.
The Service, which is led and organised by The Royal Foundation and Princess Kate, will recognise”the selfless efforts of individuals, families and communities across the UK, and celebrate and showcase the joy that human connection and togetherness can bring”, says the Palace.
The congregation will consist of people who may be vulnerable or isolated at this time of year, while guest have also been nominated by Lords Lieutenant across the UK, community networks and charities associated with the royals.
Across the UK there will be another eight Together at Christmas community carol services this month with the aim of celebrating local heroes, all supported by the Royal Foundation.
Prince William, Princess Catherine, along with their little royals, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are expected to spent Christmas Day at Sandringham with the other members of the royal family.
