The Queen Shared Sweet Birthday Message For Prince George

Prince George, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s oldest child, just turned seven, so tons of fans sent their well-wishes and birthday messages for the young prince. The Queen, being the ‘great’ great-grandmother she is, the monarch shared a public message for her great-grandson’s seventh birthday. The official Royal Family Instagram account shared a picture of George, taken by his mother Kate, accompanied by a special message from Her Majesty and Prince Philip. It read: “Wishing Prince George a very happy seventh birthday today! This photograph – taken by The Duchess of Cambridge – has been shared by @kensingtonroyal to mark the day.”

Unfortunately, Prince George will also be celebrating his birthday only with his close family at their country home, Anmer Hall, due to the still on-going crisis, just like his sister Charlotte and father William, who also had their birthdays in this period. Despite this, we are certain that mom Kate and dad William prepared a birthday for Prince George that he will long remember.

As it has become a tradition, the couple shared two new informal images of the birthday boy, taken by his mother Kate. In the first of the photographs, George can be seen beaming at the camera with a toothy smile, dressed casually in a khaki polo top and jeans. In the second photo, fans got to see the prince playing in the family’s garden, wearing a camo-print T-shirt.

It has been quite the week for the royal family, as well as the Queen. Besides George’s birthday, the Queen also celebrated Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding in a private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.

Buckingham Palace released a small selection of photographs from the big day, featuring the newlyweds and Beatrice’s proud grandparents, with one sweet portrait of the two couples being a highlight.

This is probably the last wedding that the 94-year-old monarch and her 99-year-old husband will be able to attend as all of their grown-up grandchildren are now married. Their grandchildren include Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Prince William, Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie.

This was the sixth royal wedding in the last 10 years. The first, back in 2011, was Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, followed by Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall, and then seven years later, in 2018, we had a busy year with 3 royal weddings, that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, and Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston.
