The Special Month William And Kate Have Planned With George, Charlotte And Louis
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are preparing for the special month that is ahead of them. With both of their eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, going off school, the couple will have lots of free time to spend together as a family. Prince George breaks up from Thomas’s Battersea on Friday 29 March while Charlotte finishes a bit earlier this Wednesday, and both of them won’t be returning until Wednesday 24 April.
With an entire month at their disposal, Prince William and Kate are no doubt looking forward to spending a lot of quality time with their children. Even though no official details have been released, it is most likely that the Cambridge will be spending the holiday at their country house in Sandringham, Anmer Hall. William, Kate and the kids regularly stay at the Queen’s Estate during the children’s school holidays, where they enjoy a change of pace instead of the hustle and bustle of London and go for some more low-key outings.
The last time the children had a break from school back in February, Kate took George and Kate to a luxury Norfolk hotel complex for the day. According to some reports from the Daily Mail, there Kate enjoyed a half-hour swim with her kids with a source talking about their day out: “Both the children swam unaided and were super confident. They went under the quite forceful jets in the water.
Kate politely asked us if it was ok for them to switch it on. They were doing little jumps off the side into her arms.” The Duchess also reportedly organized swimming races for her children, while Charlotte did “little duck dives off the side of the pool”.
But now the royal has an extended four-week holiday, so William and Kate might have already booked a trip abroad for their children. Back in March 2016, the family made a short trip to the French Alps for a few days of skiing; which marked George and Charlotte’s first ski holiday, with George being 3-years-old and Charlotte being ten-months-old at the time. This would be a great opportunity to take baby Prince Louis to experience snow for the first time.
Prince William and Kate’s youngest child will be celebrating his first birthday on 23 April. The royal couple is most likely planning a birthday party for Louis, perhaps in Kensington Palace, right before his two older siblings George and Charlotte go to school, or maybe even at their country house in Norfolk. No matter how they decide to spend the next month off school, William and Kate will no doubt put their family first in the following period. They have always said that family comes first.
In an open letter to support Children’s Hospice Week in 2018, Kate wrote: “Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.” The Duchess has also revealed that her children can go on spider hunts “for hours” in the garden and love to be out in the fresh air.
