Why Didn’t Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Celebrate Easter With The Queen

As it is for every Easter, the Queen spent the traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel, along with Kate Middleton and Prince William, who are currently expecting their third child and a handful of other royals. But we noticed that someone was missing. Where were Meghan Markle and Prince Harry?

According to royal sources who spoke to Hello magazine, it seems that the couple didn’t have any plans to actually attend the service in the first place, rather than ditch them later on. Instead, they report that Meghan and Harry opted to spend the holiday privately. The answer is vague and unconvincing, but it’s enough.

It does make sense that the couple would like to have some alone time and spend Easter in peace and quiet as they have been busy with preparations for their wedding this May. The holiday allows the couple to take a breath as they are busy with traveling around the country for various royal-related engagements. The pair probably spent the day relaxing, maybe having a big brunch or catching up on their favorite shows. Maybe they took the time to make some of the decisions for the wedding, and maybe reveal some details about it.
