The Rules The Queen Insists Kate Must Follow As William Prepares To Be King
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has stricter rules she must follow, as she is the wife of the future King, Prince William.
The Queen has told the Duchess of Cambridge about all the rules she must follow, such as certain fashion guides such as the length of her skirt and the colour of her tights. According to New Idea, the rules don’t apply for Meghan Markle though, as she doesn’t have such a prominent position like Kate. A source said: “Kate Middleton has a whole other set of rules and restrictions because she’s going to be Queen.
“She and Meghan are not on the same page.
“Kate Middleton has to wear her skirts at a certain length.
“The Queen is regularly, allegedly, giving notes if she doesn’t like a certain hem or a certain outfit on Kate, or certain colour tights.”
Last week, we found out that Kate had drafted a new stylist as a way of trying to keep pace with Meghan.
According to reports, Kate has hired a very talented stylist to help with her fashion choices. This comes after eager fans remarked that she upped her fashion game since Harry married Meghan last spring. Kate’s new aide is apparently Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, an aristocratic 36-year-old who previously worked at Vogue magazine as an editor.
Her job as an adviser is to assist the Duchess with choosing her royal wardrobe and helping her pick out glamorous outfits for her official engagements. Ms Chadwyck-Healey goes by the moniker of Ginnie and is an old friend of William and Kate.
She even went to the couple’s wedding back in 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
A supposed royal source told the Daily Mail: “Ginnie is Catherine’s secret weapon.
“She has made a big difference to the Duchess’s wardrobe for public engagements and has helped give her a whole new sense of confidence.”
The news comes after the Palace didn’t deny rumours that Meghan and Harry are set to leave the UK after “overshadowing” Kate and William.
